Protection of your deposit

It’s essential and also a legal requirement that the deposit is protected by being retained in a safe place. Of course, we will advise you on how this works and will ensure that your rights are protected at all times.  When dealing directly with a professional Landlord you must insist on your deposit being protected by a Government backed deposit scheme, more details of this can be found here and the scheme should be specified in your tenancy agreement, so be aware!


Guidance on how to move in

Moving into a new area can be confusing. You may not know where the local amenities are, who is involved and how, when it comes to paying council tax and utilities or even when to put the rubbish out. We advise you always check and research ALL outgoings don’t get in a pickle because you didn’t realise about council tax, electricity, gas, shopping and furnishings – it all adds up!
